Is there an educational science behind LDT?

LDT is backed up by educational science where epistemology lies at the core. Students experience increased subject knowledge, confidence, motivation, work ethic and enjoyment for learning. LDT is dedicated to the science behind how we learn.

We all absorb and acquire skills and knowledge at different rates and in different ways. Some of us are more visual whilst others are more auditory or kinesthetic. Some of us learn because we are more social by nature or perhaps because we prefer a more solitary approach.

Our brains are complex and fascinating engines.

LDT recognises how your child’s unique brain operates then harnesses key learning components via a one-to-one approach and model of differentiated learning.

LDT supports mainstream and private educational systems

LDT understands the importance of child inclusion in addressing social and academic needs.

Many LDT students are affiliated with a school and LDT creates clear lines of communication to ensure a coherent approach to the child’s academic life whilst they are absent from the classroom. For those students not currently affiliated to a school, LDT offers a temporary model until the best environment presents itself. LDT will equip students with a set of learning tools and knowledge that can accompany them into the next academic phase of their schooling.
